Right, with this new project we're looking at researching and designing our own ident for the E4 so I'm going to start with looking at existing idents and seeing if there is anything I can take away from them.

The characters on this one are the bomb diggity.

I like this one too, probably to do with the fact I like traditional animation over 3D, even though this is 2.5D.

Anyway been working on life studies for the past week, so we drew naked people. I was way more difficult than i thought it would be, I really can't draw for shit but even then I still saw an improvement with my work, who would have guessed?
We used various mediums like charcoal and ink-on-a-stick. in the end we made our own interpretation of our life studies model Chris and modern artist like Jeff Soto and Amy Sol, so that went well.

I'll upload some of my work later today as an update to this post, so... yeah, bye.

Updating is for the weak!

I haven't been on in like a month, like a real man.
But honestly, I'm just damn forgetful. Been busy with work and shit, like a good boy, so it's not like I've been sitting on my arse all this time.

Anyway, project plan!
So far I've finished all assets for the final animation, if need be I'll add more but that looks unlikely this late in the project. the original design for the characters has been scrapped and I changed it to a prettier one, at least as pretty as I can make it, and I even added a few new characters too. Still having trouble with the backgrounds, watercolours are a shit medium and I should just friggin' accept it, next time I'll stick to photoshop alone. Got little to no sounds for the animation so I best get on with that. The original story has changed so many times it seems like a different idea, just with the same characters, I'll upload both when I get home tonight so I can compare.

Right, thats enough about my project (hopefully) so other than that, what have i been doing...
